Abstract
Since September 1990 to April 1991, some of the patients(30 cases) whose EEG were more than moderately abnormal were subjected to the MPG therapy once daily for 1 week. Twenty cases were used as control.
The results were as follows
1. Effective slightly in 50%, moderately in 13.3%, worse slightly in 13.3% and moderately in 3.3%, as compared to control group-effective slightly in 15% and worse slightly in 5%.
2. The efficacy was usually slight electroencephalographically as well as clinically.
3. Moderately or severely ill patients with brain diseases seems to be not indicated for MPG therapy.
